Pick Your Flower Arrangement
Add a Card with Your Gift of Fresh Flower Delivery
When ordering an arrangement from this farm fresh florist, you can also add a little piece of art as a greeting card. While we sell original paintings through our sister website, these cards, printed on eco-friendly paper, are only available here, at our Uxbridge flower shop! Choose one of the beautiful Canadian motifs to express your personal message to the recipient. You may like the portraits of the horses who helped grow our flowers with their generous manure, some other Uxbridge animals, pets and birds or sites you may even recognize if you drive around the area. Your farm to door flowers and flower bouquet delivery cannot get more Canadian or local than that! Once you select the flower arrangement, you’ll be able to browse and add the card at the same time.
Farm to Door Flowers are Good for the Plant and People
No workers are harmed by breathing in and handling the crops covered with pesticides on our Uxbridge flower farm. We don’t use pesticides whatsoever. In our operation, no flowers ever are heavily drugged with chemicals for days or even weeks to make them look fresh until they get to you. Because our flowers are locally grown and not flown, emissions from air transportation are entirely eliminated. It’s the imported flowers that are associated with all these problems! Our mission at the Old Barn Flower Farm is to provide a clean, healthy, and beautiful alternative with farm to door flowers but also to educate, keep learning and improving. When you order a flower bouquet delivery from us, rest assured that plants are extended to you just as nature serves them.

FAQ’s regarding Ordering Online from a Farm Fresh Florist
How can I order flowers online?
Placing an order through our Uxbridge flower shop is very easy. When in season, mixed flower bouquets and flower arrangements in pedestals are made available to pre-order on this very page. Simply select the product to order flowers online. Once you click on the product, you will be able to choose the option that includes the flower bouquet delivery to your area, and you can also add a beautiful card if purchasing as a gift. Orders must be made at least two days in advance. We deliver every day of the workweek while pausing for weekends and statutory holidays.
Can I request specific flowers and colours?
As a farm fresh florist, our shop always works with what’s available in the field at any given time. Therefore, we cannot accept special requests. While you can select between soft coloured flower arrangements and those bold ones with more vivid colours, it will be the florist’s choice what goes into a mixed bouquet or a vessel arrangement. You are welcome to leave any additional messages to us at the checkout. We will follow the instructions as much as possible, but we cannot commit nor guarantee any specific requests regarding your fresh flower delivery.
What are the flower bouquet delivery fees?
Fresh flower delivery comes with different charges depending on your region. Once you select the desired product from our online flower shop, you can select the arrangement with the delivery included with your region name on it. There will be no additional fees added at the checkout.
Can I pick up my flowers?
We offer farm to door flowers, and the delivery is always included with the mixed flower bouquet or an arrangement order. At this time, we cannot facilitate a pick-up option for our farm fresh florist service. Only custom orders, such as wedding flowers and DIY flower buckets, can be delivered or picked up by appointment only.
Can I keep getting fresh flower delivery on an ongoing basis?
Yes, absolutely! We offer an extensive flower subscription program with delivery from May to October. Head over to our Flower Subscription page to find the best package for you.
Can I send a personal message with my flower order?
Yes, yes, yes! Not only can you order some of the most beautiful locally grown flowers from our Uxbridge flower shop, but you can also add one of our own art-covered cards depicting local motifs too! Once you select the flower product, it’s easy to view all available cards and add one to your order right on the spot. Type out your message to the recipient, and we’ll make sure your loved one reads it on a beautiful card delivered along with flowers.
Can I select the time for flower delivery?
If you would like to order flowers online for delivery, please make sure the order is placed at least two days prior to your preferred delivery date. Also, please be aware we do not deliver on weekends and holidays. As for the specific time of delivery, you are welcome to leave an additional message at the checkout. While we’ll always try to accommodate, we cannot promise the exact delivery time.
I need last-minute flowers; will you accept my order?
Our farm to door flowers require at least two days notice, which means you can purchase a bouquet or an arrangement at least two days before you’d like the flowers to be delivered. If, however, you find yourself in a last-minute situation, you can always email us at info@oldbarnflowerfarm.com to see if we have time to rush an order for you. We’ll always do our best, but it ultimately depends on the work in the field and other prior floral commitments.
How can I keep my flowers fresh?
If you order flowers online from us, you will receive a small bag of simple flower food that you can mix with water and offer your flowers the necessary nutrients. Fresh, organically grown flowers like our own do well in the vase in just clean water, but the longevity will depend on the plant itself. Since they have nothing to feed on once cut, flower food is a great option to have them last a few days longer. Most if not all of our flowers are cut the same day as delivered to you. The exception might be some rare varieties that can be safely stored in a fridge for a few days, such as tulips. Also, plants like amazing lisianthus can be harvested ahead of the storm and saved for weeks in nothing but water, and they will still look like the first day! Either way, you will always get fresh, healthy, beautiful stems in your arrangements. Providing a clean vessel you can drink from, changing water and recutting stems every two days keeps your flowers fresh longer. Over time, you can pick out those that might be nearing their end and enjoy those still standing strong. We also share these tips and more through our email newsletter and social media, so be sure to follow!
Can you guarantee your flowers won't cause allergies and are safe to be around?
While we can say flowers from our field are safe to display in your home or anywhere else, we cannot be responsible if you get an allergic reaction because of them. If you know you have allergies to pollen, use your best judgment when ordering farm to door flowers as only you know how you feel in their presence. In addition to that, it’s worth noting that some of the most commonly known flowers have certain levels of toxicity in them that can cause problems to humans and pets. From skin irritation to more significant reactions, flowers like daffodils, yarrow, marigolds, hydrangea, with foxglove and lily of the valley topping the toxicity level, are on that list. We grow them, and they might find their way in your mixed bouquets. Simply wash your hands after handling the bouquet and keep it out of reach from kids and pets. If it helps, our cats don’t seem to be attracted to it anyway, and they’ve been around young seedlings, plants in the field and bouquets in the vase.
