All Wreath Ingredients Come From Our Farm
In this world of mass production and many eco-UNfriendly consequences that come with it, knowing that a product you like comes from your neighbour’s farm, carries a little something special, doesn’t it? Not only did we plan to grow flower varieties that dry well and stock up our barn over the summer, but we were also able to source the best evergreen branches for winter wreaths from a bit of the forest we have on our property. Even though we enjoy the sites of many tall spruce trees, we focused on those that will shed a little or not at all to last through the entire holiday season at your home or a place of work. Arborvitae and Pine made the cut, which pairs so well with our dried flowers for a perfect wreath mix. The wreath base is also handcrafted from the grapevine we have at our farm, and the choice of natural raffia makes the winter wreath a fully compostable option once you remove the ribbon. A dried flower wreath is secured with a florist wire to stay intact for a longer period of time and really expand its life as an everlasting bunch. With nature in mind and in her celebration, choosing our wreaths, you are really choosing the style and showing responsibility. You so rock!

Pick up Your Wreath or Have it Delivered to Your Door
We are primarily an online flower shop that offers delivery within about 40 km of our farm, however, this holiday season, we are adding a few more economical options: scheduled pick-up and scheduled delivery for seasonal wreath orders. When selecting your wreath, you can also choose one of these options. Our little farm shop with our art, jewellery, knitwear, greeting cards and wreaths will be open on select dates during which you can visit and pick up your winter wreath. A scheduled delivery is a “batch” delivery on select dates when we deliver all orders in your area, so the costs of delivery are minimal as they are shared between the group. Delivery on preferred dates is possible for a regular delivery fee.

Frequently Asked Questions About Ordering a Holiday Wreath
For how long my front door wreath will last?
If you select an evergreen wreath mixed with some dried flowers, it will last throughout the holiday season. Because we selected evergreen that sheds very little or not at all, your front door wreath will look beautiful for weeks. We know that if evergreen wreaths are displayed inside a warm home, it will typically decrease their life span, but, again, with a wreath that will barely shed, you could also incorporate it in your interior.
A dried flower wreath is everlasting, and if stored carefully, it can be enjoyed another season.
What are the wreath sizes available to order?
We have a selection of sizes for both the evergreen winter wreath and the dried flower wreath. When finished, the evergreen winter wreath measures about 22” across as a large option and about 15” as a medium option. Dried flower wreath measures about 12” to 13” when finished, and a smaller version of 10”.
Can I order a custom-sized wreath?
Yes! You can email us at info@oldbarnflowerfarm.com to tell us in which size you’d like your wreath to be and we’ll give you a quote.
Can I choose colours for my fall wreath?
Yes, for both a fall wreath or dried flower wreath and also for an evergreen winter wreath, you have the option to select the colour pallet you’d prefer.
What should I do with my wreath after the holiday season?
If you want to order an evergreen winter wreath, you should know that once you remove the ribbon and/or the little wire hook on the back, the entire wreath is compostable as we use biodegradable raffia for binding and grapevine from our farm as a base. You can simply assign the whole thing to your compost.
Can I pick up my winter wreath?
Yes, you can! Our farm shop will be open on select weekends, and if you choose this option when ordering your wreath, we will email you our exact address. Then you can come for a visit and pick up your holiday wreath.
Can I have my holiday wreath delivered?
Absolutely! If you or the recipient of the wreath is in our delivery area, you can select scheduled delivery with a minimal delivery cost, or you can specify your date for a regular delivery fee.
